When users opt to subscribe to a Status Page, is there a way to allow them to subscribe to a whole component group, instead of individual components within that component group?
Each component group has multiple components under it, and we have received pushback from users about checking each component under a component group (for cases where users do not want to be subscribed to all component groups).
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Hello Jeffrey,
Thank you for reaching out to StatusPage Community, I am Nayan from the StatusPage team, happy to help!
Currently, Statuspage allows users to subscribe to individual components, and with the Business and Enterprise plans, you can enable “Component Subscriptions” so users can pick and choose which components they want notifications for. However, as of now, there is no built-in option for users to subscribe to an entire component group with a single click. Users must manually select each component within a group to receive notifications for all of them.
There is a feature request STSPG-5503 asking for a “Select All” option at the component group level to make this process easier. At the moment, the only workaround is for users to check each component individually within the group.
I hope the above information is helpful.

Nayan
Thanks for the speedy reply. Is it possible to do this using custom CSS / Javascript?

Hello Jeffrey,
I am afraid this may not be possible via the custom scripts. As mentioned earlier, as of now the users would have to manually select the components.
I understand this may not be feasible and have added your request as a vote on the feature request.

Nayan
