Hello,
I recently started using Trello and am in the process of automating as many things as possible so that I can use it as a to-do list with my business partner.
We created an automation that, when I mark a task as complete, sends it to another board that tracks our activity.
However, mistakes happen, and I would like to make sure that if I mark the task as incomplete in that board, it returns to my “to-do” board.
The main problem is that my to-do board is organized according to the user who owns the task. So I can't arbitrarily decide in advance where the card will be returned to.
Our “to-do” board has three lists: mine, theirs, and a shared one.
Until now, when we add a card to a list, the person who owns the list is automatically identified.
I would therefore like the task to be redirected to the right place in the “to-do” board when it is marked as incomplete in the “track activity” board.
Thank you in advance.
Hi @Alexandre , Welcome to the community!Thank you for explaining your case.
Can you explain how you are identifying the user automatically?
"Until now, when we add a card to a list, the person who owns the list is automatically identified "
Is it based on the labels? I'm asking so I can better understand and then run some tests to advise on this further.
