Hello!
I am trying to automate due dates across different cards, relative to a start date.

For example, if card A is due Jan 1, I would want to automate card B to be due Feb 1, and card C to be due June 1.

There doesn't seem to be a way to automate this directly via. Trello, however looking online it seems that linking Jira might be the solution.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks!

@Daniel Fox

I have a client that implemented days to complete via Make.com. It can also be done via other approaches. In their case, card A,B,C etc are defined in an SOP build and these are used to create cards and the days to complete will be used to calculate and set the due dates from current date or the start date if present. The SOP card also has members assigned and guidance information. Some of the guidance material also act as triggers to automate stuff eg in his case it was to create social media card and AI content to be used by the collaborators for that card.

Hi @Daniel Fox ,

Thanks for reaching out!

This can be done through automation, but it would need to include a couple of other factors.

For example, you could use the find card action to update other cards, or the "for each card linked in the attachments" under the Cascade when building out your automation action.

That said, we can try work something out for you! Can you share more information about your use case?

Also, I checked your account, and you currently don't have Premium on this account yet. If you have Premium, I'd be happy to create a support ticket on your behalf so we can work on it in a ticket 😊

Alternatively, feel free to reach out with your paid account at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/.

Thanks,
Lara
