How can I add a checklist item to all checklists in every card with the same label?

Hello! I have built an entire board with 500+ cards. I have them grouped into 9 different labels, but I have since learned that there is an additional item that needs to be added to the checklists in the vast majority of them. Is there a way I can simultaneously add a single checklist item to every single card in a certain label? I would love to avoid going through each card individually and adding in this checklist item one by one if possible.

Not a 100% fit right now for your request, but if you can live with the extra item is on a new Checklist on the cards, then this free tool can do it: https://trellotools.azurewebsites.net/BatchUpdate

But, your request is cool, so I will see if I can't add the option to also append new checklist items to an existing Checklist given the name match... stay tuned...

Update... The new feature that allows you to add checklist items to existing checklists (If the name match) are now live! (was easy to add :-)
