Please return the markdown support for typing card descriptions. The lack of markdown makes trello practically useless for any technical work and we had to move to something else

The introduction of the new editor marks a definitive shift away from the old one, which will not be reinstated. This change is intentional and permanent.

Maintaining both editors concurrently, as we do now, is unlikely. Doing so would require us to develop new features that accommodate card descriptions for both editors, effectively doubling our development efforts.
