New layout: cannot deactivate/delete boards [solved]

In the previous layout, boards were listed in the left side-bar. From there one could deactivate a board.
Not possible anymore, not from this layout.

[Edit} just learned from Google AI: waaaaaay at the bottom of the board menu, I can close a board. In the board overview, I can select the closed boards and delete it from there.

All this would not be a problem if Trello incorporated a simple Delete option for cards, lists and boards. Now I have to jump through all kinds of hoops in order to keep the listcount of a board under the max of 4000.

Hi @PeterD  ,I see that you updated the heading to 'solved.' I'm glad that issue is sorted

The board switcher can be pinned to the left edge as a sidebar. When pinned, it can be opened and closed by selecting Switch boards in the navigation bar.

No, thank you!
Again a subtle change I missed.

However: now the boards have their picklist back on the lefthand side, it's not possible to close a board from here, like in the old layout. It's just a list with boards to pick from, no additional functionality.

Still, all layout changes aside, the option to actually delete a card or list from a board would be nice.
Instead, I do have the option to delete a complete board w/o so much of a recovery option.
A 30 day trash would be a nice change.

Hi Peter ,
At the moment, Trello does not allow you to directly delete a card or list. Instead, you’ll first need to archive the card or list, and then you can proceed to delete it if needed. Archived cards and lists are stored in the archived section, and you have the option to restore them at any time before deletion.

Please note that Trello does not currently offer a 30-day trash period—once an item is deleted, it cannot be recovered. However, I appreciate your suggestion regarding this feature and will be sure to pass it along to our team for consideration.

Thank you !
