I want to be able to use Zapier (or anything really) to add a new contact to my google contacts when a card is added to a list. I would like the contact to have the name of the card as the "company name" and the email address be the email address of the CARD.
So far I am unable to find a way to push the cards email address to another app. It seems easy enough for the BOARD email address, but that isn't what I am looking for.
I basically want to add contacts automatically to my address book, so that I can text my specific cards from my iphone with tasks (as comments).
If you are referring to the email that allows email to be sent as comments, there is no variable that would expose the card email address.
You can try to see you can do that with Sendmail or alternatively use Hipporello with conversation to do it.
Or if you want you can use Shortcut plus some help of api to do that.
Hi @Client Care ,
We have a workaround in Crmble Power-Up that maybe will work for you. You could create a contact/deal in Crmble and create the directly from the Trello card a contact in your Google Contact. That will provide you in the card with a direct link to the card and also the possibility to update the contact in Google Contacts from the Trello card. Like for example opening the card, copy the email to card addres and adding that to the Crmble Contact and update your Google Contact from there.
This way when you are reqaching the contact from your email client you will have for that contact available both mail addresses.
On the other hand if you activate the Gmail tracker option in Crmble will track the conversation you have though email by leaving comments accordingly in your Trello card.
If you have any wuestions or you need anymore help just let me know!
Cheers
Toni
