I have been using Trello for 5 years, my whole working life for my business is in there. Today, it wouldn't let me log in, telling me that I had recently migrated to Atlassian and to log in with the 'new' info. I used the same email address and reset the password. It logged me in to my 'new' Atlassian/Trello account and all my boards are gone. How do I get them back? I am unable to log in to my old account. I even tried to send requests to join my old boards, and while it says 'your request has been sent', I am not getting any emails about someone wanting to join my boards.
Literally my whole life is in there and all the work I have done over the past 5 years. How do I get my boards back?
I know of a method that supposedly gets your old account back, but I haven't had to use it myself, so I won't recommend it. What I would instead recommend is that you contact Atlassian directly. Make sure you select an option that doesn't just take you back to this community like Technical issues and bugs; you want to create a ticket.
I would also suggest that you include the URL for one of your old boards in the ticket you create; the team can use that to find out which email address is associated with the account that board belongs to. The most likely explanation in this case is that your main account has a different email address on it than the one you recently logged in with.
