I've noticed a change in how tracking links are processed. Previously, pasting a link to a card would automatically trigger and display the Package Tracker UI/interface (showing status, location, etc.). Now, the link only appears as a standard attachment.
Was there a change to the integration or power-up? Please advise on how to re-enable the functionality that converts a pasted tracking link into the active Package Tracker widget
Hi everyone,
Thank you for raising this. I know how helpful it is to have tracking details displayed directly on your Trello cards! Let's look into this a bit more.
To help us investigate further, could you please share:
Which carrier the package was shipped through (according to the company that originally shipped it)?
Which carrier you selected in the Package Tracker Power-Up dropdown when adding the tracking number?
For reference, I tried this myself using a USPS tracking number (which is one of the supported carriers in the Package Tracker dropdown in Trello). In my test, I was able to see the full delivery details on the card back, and the correct status (“delivered”) appeared on the card front. This shows that the Power-Up is working as expected for some carriers. However, there may be some limitations or recent changes that affect how tracking details appear for other carriers.
It’s important to mention that some carriers (especially newer, less common, or those that sometimes use private delivery services) may not yet be fully supported in the Power-Up. If the carrier you’re using isn’t listed in the dropdown menu, the tracking link may show up as a regular link instead of displaying the full tracking details. Your additional details will help us find out more!
Thank you for your help and for being part of the Trello Community!

Package tracker is a great little power-up but I can see that it has changed. You're right it has changed. I can confirm what you said as attachments. I can also see that if I add items through the power-up, they just show as a link in the package tracker power-up section, without the progress bar like before. The card front status shows pending even on parcels that are delivered.
I have escalated this to Atlassian so keep an eye out in the next few days for a response from one of their team here...
