Unable to add comments

I am suddenly unable to add comments to any of my current projects. I can create a new task and add description to it but the option to add comments has disappeared.

I can however add comments to other collaborators in the same board as me with no issue! I tried logging out and back again, creating new projects as test but the option is not there.

Any ideas as to why?

We had a bug today that is causing some members to not be able to post comments on a card. We are working on fixing it.

@Rafaella Konstantinou-Gray  can you refresh and try again? This issue has been fixed and it should work as expected for you now.

@Gaurav Kataria Hello Gaurav, I'm having the same issue. There is no way to actually add a comment. Ever since I updated to the new version I've been unable to add comments.  Can you help me? Thanks NVM - I just had commenting disabled. I fixed it.

In the new design, comments are available as a panel on the right side of the card. You can click the rightmost button in the bottom to open the comments panel (see image below)

I've got the same issue with an inability to add comments to existing cards. The help information given seems to relate to adding to the 'Description' section for a new card, not 'comments' for an existing card??!
