I had the same issue a while ago, and it turned out the problem was linked to how my card interacted with their secure online payment processing services. I switched to a different card that supports international transactions, and it worked right away. Also, double-check if your bank flagged the payment attempt—it happened to me once, and a quick call fixed it.
