Is there an option to create an automation rule triggered by an issue being archived?

There is an option to trigger a rule when an issue is deleted, but what about archived?

Hi @Omer Meshar

It's still in feature request

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JIRAAUTOSERVER-307

You could work with webhooks for this

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-68024

If we need it from Automation, we need to wait till Atlassian releases this feature

Thanks,

Pramodh

I think that issue-level archiving is supported by Jira Data Center and Server only (and in JSM).

I believe issue-level archiving is not available for Jira Cloud (in case anyone finding this thread was wondering). Jira projects can be archived (View All Project > 3-dots menu for a specific project > Archive).
