To copy custom fields to subtasks

Hey guys, do you know how can I do in the automation to copy a custom field from the Issue 

I mean, I have an issue created, when creating a subtask from that issue, I want a custom field to be the same as the parent issue, you know?

Atlassian has document on how to create automation rule to copy the parents field data to a sub-task.

Hi @Mario Amaya - So you're creating the sub-task manually, and upon creation you want automation to copy field data down?

You could do something like this:

• TRIGGER: Issue Created
• CONDITION: Issue Type = Sub-Task
• ACTION: Edit Issue
  • Select your field
  • Click the ... menu 
  • Select Copy
  • Change the source to Parent
