where is the sync button in new UI

As title, I can not find the sync option of my forked repo with origin repo.

Found the Sync button.

Solution

1. On the left navigation pane, click on "Source"

2. On the right of your screen, look for "Repository details" section. There should be a sync button right below "fork of <someone>".

Nothing appears below "Fork of <someone>" for me.   Killing me i cant sync to the master origin repo.

Hi Jie! To find the sync button in the new UI you'll need to hover over the line, once you do that you'll see an ellipsis button (something like ...), click on it and you'll see a few different options, being 'sync' one of them.

Can you find it now?

Hi! If you found that menu but there's no 'Sync branch' option, that means there's nothing to sync there. 

To turn on/off the new UI, please navigate to your Avatar (in the bottom left corner) > Bitbucket Labs and then switch 'New source browser experience' on or off.

That's weird... could you send us a screenshot of the 2 different UI, one with the sync option and another one without this option? I'll need it to help me troubleshoot the problem.

they have the sync option, but I think it sync with my master branch, I want to sync my master branch with origin master branch from where I forked this repo.

We have exactly the same issue. My colleague updated to the new UI and cannot sync the master branch of their fork which is 10 commits behind. I have access to his fork and can see the sync option above the recent activity on the overview page.

The new UI seems to have removed the overview page and the sync button. Neither of us have the sync branch option in the branches list, old or new UI.

I'll suggest he roll back the UI.

fork only has a master branch. Parent has two branches but changes are on main branch...
