Can I change a page's owner without them being notified?

Hello,

I was wondering if I could change a page's owner without them being notified. 

The case is that I have some pages that some former users own. I want to change their ownership, but these people get emails notifying them of the changes which are a lot and frustrating as you can imagine.

Hi @Vassia Bravou 

I believe there is no option to disable notifications for owner change.

However, you can create a ticket via http://support.atlassian.com.
