left navigation panel is gone after upgrade to confluence 4.3 from 4.1

After upgrading the confluence 4.3, we lost the left navigation pane

Daghan,

Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing and if possible what you are accustomed to seeing? Are you using the Documentation Theme in Confluence or some other plugin (Zen, RefinedWiki, custom plugin) for theming Confluence?

Is it possible that it's just collapsed and toggled off? If you toggle the navigation pane on the top right hand side of the browser, you can type '[' (that's a left bracket) to toggle the navigation pane on and off. Does that change anything? Is this happening to all users?

If you can provide some more info, we might be able to help more with this.
