Hide empty form fields in submitted form

Helena Magloire December 19, 2024

Hi,

I am using a request form to create tickets, which then contain the forms as  attachments. My agents would like form fields that have not been filled in to be hidden. Is this possible?

Thank you!

Hey @Helena Magloire

When using the forms on requests the only way to hide fields that have not been filled in is to include them in conditional sections that only display when required.

Any fields that are visible on submission will remain in the attached form/PDF.

Thank you Jovin,

I assume there's also no way to format the forms to help the user navigate them?

Thanks again!

With the forms you can add almost all formatting from Confluence to them, so you can provide links to knowledge articles, hints and tips and also headers etc.

I find it's best to provide less flourishes but more "descriptions" on the fields, so have a nice concise title with a helpful description underneath and use the /note or /warning sparingly for really important information.

Happy holidays!
