How to use answers in submitted form in automation without creating custom field

Hi,

We have forms linked to several request types. We would like to create subtasks based on the users answers after the form is submitted. At the moment we are doing this by creating custom fields and linking them to the forms. 

Is there a way to achieve this without creating custom fields?
