Hi All,
I plan to create another project for our Learning & Development team and need your input for the best-practice (or commonly used) built-in templates from Jira SM.
I have read the description from the help and I still cannot decide which template that is suitable for the new project for Learning & Development team.
Appreciate for any suggestions, thanks.
Regards,
Hendra
Hi @Hendra Liu
The main purpose of JSM project templates is to provide options for users to quickly set up a JSM project/Portal and try it on right away. Once you pick one, you will most probably need to modify the configuration to match your requirements for example:
If you do not have a specific requirement in mind, I would suggest using the "General service management for business teams" for a start.
If you need help designing your portal, you may one to engage one of Atlassian's partners to help you out. As one of the partners, we will normally organize a few days' workshops to gather your requirements such as your current state and future state. If needed, we can do a full implementation as well which includes design, build, UAT, and post-implementation support.
I hope I answered your question.
Thank you,
Marini
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm aware that I might need to customize it to our needs if we choose either of the templates provided. I was just thinking if any of the templates will make-do with minimum customization based on anyone experience :)
I will start with the "General service..." template and hopefully not so much customization needed or might not needed at all. Thanks again.
