Are there any problems, upgrades, or maintenance for the Jira Cloud app in MS teams because many of our employees cannot add the application due to "Something went wrong. Please try again" when clicking Sign in with their Jira accounts.

Adding to this thread to say that a number of our users are experiencing this same issue. Clearing Teams cache, uninstalling and re-installing Teams, and trying via Teams web browser all do not work.

Hello; our company was experiencing this issue on 10/14 as reported above. However after logging off and on a few times during the day the issues resolved by itself. The Jira Cloud function is now working as expected in MS Teams.

That is known issue on Microsoft Teams app client. Microsoft Team is working on the fix...
Please try to sign in to the application from Issues tab, this flow should work:
