Send email notifcation after issue is resolved

Hi all,

I got a custom field "Resolution comment" which becomes mandatory when issue is resolved. 

How can I send the content of that custom field to the Reporter when the issue is set to resovled?  I checked the post function of workflow but there is no option to send email with custom field value.

Hi @Zaldy Parian ,

I think in the workflow there is no option send custom mail.

But using the automation this is possible please follow the below step.

Please go to the automation-> create one automation-> Then select Issue transitioned trigger and select a From and To Status->Then select Send Mail action.

Then configure the automation as per your requirement.

Or you can send particular custom field data in the automation using {{issue.customfieldname}} this smart value.
