Hi everyone,
I am getting a 500 error when trying to copy the user from Assignee to a custom field (user picker type, like the Assignee). Using a simple post function for this:
Post Functions>Update Custom field>select Customfield>Update Custom Field Value with %%CURRENT_USER%%
I am able to add other types of post functions. Seems like the problem is only with this specific pair of fields.
Not sure if this would matter, but I have another post function on the same transition that assigns the issue to the current user. I thought I would place the customfield update lower in the order so it fires based on freshly populated assignee.
Thanks for any help!

This morning I received the notification that this bug has been fixed. However, I am still encountering this error. The case you referenced is now closed, so I'm not sure if its assignee is still receiving comment notifications. Do you have any means to report this back so the case is revisited/reopened?
Thanks!

In this case, I think you should create a Support ticket to perform a deeper investigation, I just tested on my instance & works fine.
