API service desk with Postman : Client must be authenticated to access this resource

Admin key4 November 19, 2019 edited

Hi all,

i'm using Postman and the JSON collections generated by Atlassian himself (https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/service-desk/rest/  button Run in Postman ).

I try to run the Service desk APIs

When I run in Postman I get this error:

{    "message": "Client must be authenticated to access this resource.",    "status-code": 401}

But If I try with JIRA's software API, it's run.

The user is an admin who has access to Jira software and Jira Service Desk.

I'm using the same token to access to Jira software and to the Jira service desk. (generated on this page https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-tokens)

Where I'm wrong?

[Edit]

I did a new test: in my browser, if i type the url https://<<myproject>>atlassian.net/rest/servicedeskapi/servicedesk when I'm connected with the same user, I have the good result.

So I Don't understand I'm authentify in Jira software APi in Postman but I Don't in Jira Service Desk Api.

[/Edit]

Many thanks.
