Add a watcher automatically

One of our managers (jira user) has an assistant (jira user) and we would like to add the assistant as a watcher automatically to each jira task assigned to the manager. How can we do this?

Hi @Chris Morisseau ,

You can achieve this through automation:

• Trigger: Issue assigned
• Condition: Assignee equals <Manager>
• Action: Manage watchers
  • Add these watchers: <Assistant>
  • Remove these watchers: -
