Advanced Road Map

Will it be a good idea to have just one Premium license in Jira for the Project Manager and rest of the organization can continue using Standard license? Objective is to make use of Advanced road map capabilities like Epic-Task-Sub task hierarchy, Multiple project road maps in one view and the like by the PM. Any thoughts will be highly appreciated! Thanks!

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

That is not how plan licensing is applied. Your entire instance is assigned a plan type - Free, Standard, Premium, or Enterprise. That plan dictates what functionality is available on the instance. All users are billed at the rate for the plan type for the instance. It is not possible to bill for some users at the Premium plan rate with only those users having access to the extra functionality available in the Premium plan.
