Hi all,
I want to share a plan (option read-only) with a user that is not in the project where the plan is pointing to. Is this an option?
I have done it, but the user can't see the issues because is not in the project (makes sense to me).
Reason for my query: I'm sharing the plan with a supplier but I dont want him to have access to the project as a whole, considering that we have, as a client, information that we don't want to share. We want to share only the plan that was created based in a filter on top of that project.
Thank you in advance!
Best Regads,
André Vilar
Hi @André Filipe Vilar ,
Try to use Share as button on the right:
Then a link will be generated with a read-only access.
To even restrict it more precisely you can filter only those issues, which you want the supplier to see and then create a new plan with this filter as a source.
I hope it helps. If this answer helps solve the problem, please come back and mark this answer as solved to help other community members with the same challenge.
Hi @Magdalena Zhisheva ,
Thank you for the answer.
That was what I have done . I have shared the link using that option. The user can open the link but has the following error (again, the user doesn have access to project and we dont want to give it, but we need that he can see the issues in the plan - the filter that is being used in the plan is shared with that user):

Hi @André Filipe Vilar ,
What I am thinking of is making a issue security schemes and grant the supplier access to the project and restrict it with those schemes - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-issue-security-schemes/
Otherwise, the supplier can't see the issues even in the Advanced Roadmap
Hope it helps!
