I want to add a watcher to a ticket that has already been created.
When adding, I want to send a notification to the added watcher.
What settings does the watcher need to receive notifications? or how do I set it up?
If people added as watcher can receive notifications, can they do so through the app or the web?
Is the watcher meant here as image #1? or is this image #2?

they will need Browse permissions. Yes the eye is where you manage watchers. Once added then the user will receive notifications in accordance with the notification scheme for the project.
Thank you for your answer.
Sure, I turned on the notification permission of the browser. Nevertheless, Notification didn't come.
is it correct that the author should add watchers to the list in the eye icon to inform that watcher??
Even if I add the username to the Watcher item as in image #2, is it correct that the notification does not come?

Once you added the user as a watcher what sort of update did you make. Just adding the user will not send a notification but assuming you have "Issue updated" set to include "All watchers" in your Notification scheme then when you next make an update on the issue then the email will be sent. Also, note that generally you will not see any notification for your own changes. So be sure to test w/ two users.

The process is as follows:
1. Developer creates a ticket
2. For the purpose of sharing with team members, another member(B, C) of the QA team is added to the watcher by one(A) of the QA team who received the ticket.
Change:
The contents remain the same. Only B and C are added to the watcher.
Question.
1. Can B and C get ticket notifications?
2. Can B and C be notified whenever a thread is updated?
FYI, Purpose:
1. Share the ticket created with team members
2. Prevention of duplicate issues/tickets
Notifications for "Updated issues" include "Everyone Watching".

I do not believe a watcher gets notified when they are added to an issue. However they will when some updates the issue after they are added. Should be a simple test to verify.

After changed status, I received the alert email. Thanks, Jack.
