Archiving pages and projects access for users with Basic access

Magda Milkowska January 14, 2022

We have some users (with Basic access) who would like to be able to archives pages within their projects but I cannot figure out which access they should have. Is there anyway to do it without giving administrator access? Is archiving only reserved for users with administrator access?

Thank you!

Hi Magda,

Only Administrators will be able to archive things.

Hi @Magda Milkowska ,

You are talking about archiving pages? In Jira Software? Are you talking about Project pages? Pages are part of Confluence, not Jira.

Could you provide some more details or a screenshot?

HI @Dave Mathijs

I'm talking about archiving in general. For this specific case, one of our users (with Basic access) would like to be able to archive old tasks. Since you mentioned Confluence, is there anyway non-admin users can archive project pages in there?
