Unfortunately, it's not currently possible for each individual user to select their own home page in Jira, however, we completely understand how useful it would be to have an easy "one-click" way to navigate back to their boards.
That being said, we created the following feature request with our development team to implement this option:
- Ability to set a JIRA Agile board as home page in Jira new UI
Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.
As a workaround, they can add custom links in the application navigator as described in the documentation below, using the group box to specify who can see the links:
