×When we cannot resolve an issue immediately on Service Management we create a linked 'relates to' issue in a different Project and add to the backlog for the next sprint prioritisation.
In order that we can identify what issues have been added since the last meeting, I would like all the new issues added to be set as 'Lowest' priority.
I'm struggling to understand how to set this up so it only applies on new issues that have been created from another project. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you.
im not sure why you would not simply have the person creating the linked issue set the priority but that is beside the point.
What have you attempted? Basically I think it looks like this...
project rule where linked issue is created:
trigger - issue created
condition - link exists to issue in other project
condition - priority != lowest
Action - set priority to lowest
if this makes sense give it a go and let us know if you get stuck. If I have missed your goal please LMK.
Hi @Michael Royle ,
you can use this automation rule to change the priority on a "relates to" issue :
You can change the condition to be exactly what you need, I've set mine as an example.
Let me know if this helps,
