Hello everyone, I was hoping that someone could help me figure out how to automate a process I'm currently trying to recreate in x-ray using JIRA automation rules.
Currently I have an automated setup in my JIRA instance in which whenever a specific type of JIRA is created with a specific set of labels, it will append a Smart Checklist in said JIRA. We can call this JIRA "Product A".
What I'm trying to figure out is how i can replicate this through X-ray. I created in X-ray a template of tests. I have a Test Plan which holds inside it's own test sets and tests within those; we can call it "Product A Tests".
Ideally, I would like that when a JIRA for "Product A" is created, then JIRA will create a clone of the x-ray template "Product A Tests" and then link those two together.
Does anyone have any idea how this can be done? I'm aware that JIRA automation rules have a setting to clone tasks, but I'm under the impression that you can only clone the tasks that was just created and not a task of your choosing. I feel if I could tell JIRA to clone a specific task, that would solve most of my problems, but I simply can't figure out how.
Thank to everyone in advance.
