Hello Community,

Quick question about a Automation Trigger via Schedule, 

Not sure when we select the "On the" "A date" we should expect a date picker?

As i have a target to Run an automation in every 3 months (ignore the 1 month in the picture), but starting only on October 1st.

Even though you have an answer using a CRON expression, I recommend submitting a defect to Atlassian Support for what you have found.  As the site admin on a paid, Jira license you can do that here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

I see the same thing and that value "A date" is not selectable...even though it seems to indicate picking a specific date is possible.  I was unable to find this symptom in the public backlog for automation rules.
