Automation rule to create new story in a different project

Hi All

Looking for some guidance and help.

When we create a issue type and update a custom field called "resources needed" we want that to then trigger a story to be automatically triggered within a new project for that specific resource type. Is there a way to do this?

Hi @Lindsey Abrahamsen 

You seem to be asking if an automation rule can create an issue in another project.  That is possible, and you may select the project with the Create Issue action.

If you are having challenges doing this, please post images of your complete automation rule and the audit log details showing the rule execution.  Those will provide context for the community to offer suggestions.
