Hi ,

When creating an issue in the specific projects I will choose one of the components and want to have an automation to add a specific parent in case the task has one of my chosen components.

Thanks in advance

Hi @Sona Evanesyan

Can you show your current automation rule?

This will help community member to understand your logic of thinking and the way you want the rule to be acting.

Hi @Sona Evanesyan

Sure you can evaluate the value inside the component field of a newly created issue using an automation. You can even use that automation to change an epic link / parent link to a certain value based upon your first findings.

As @Marc - Devoteam suggests: have you started on an automation rule yet? We can help tuning that to your needs.

I hope this helps in finding your solution,

Dick
