Best Practices for a QA Board

Gina Nace March 13, 2019

I want to set up a QA board that pulls in all the "done" issues from multiples boards. I then want these issues to move to a "to-do" or similar type column in my new QA board, alerting the person using the QA board to know these issues are ready for testing.

Am I approaching this the right way? If so, what's the best way to set this up...through filters and workflows? Right now everything that's "done" on other boards is flowing into the "done" column on the QA board. How do I get the issues into the QA "to-do" column?

Hi Gina,

If you still need to do something with the Issue after others are finished, they should not mark it Done. It should be another status like Ready for Test. Either way, the last status on the other board should be mapped to the To Do column on your QA board. Again, that won't work if you also need to use the Done status.
