Best way to do portfolio management in Jira

Hi All

We have about 8 domains within IT that each have multiple products for each domain meaning multiple backlogs and product owners. We are trying to find a way to create portfolio level views for each domain and also views to show cross functional dependencies. We can create the domain view by creating domain specific backlogs but looking to understand how others have tackled this issue.

Also, how are folks showing the cross functional or cross domain dependencies properly within your backlogs?

Atlassian has a product called Jira Align. It is dedicated to program and portfolio management, implementing agile methodologies in an enterprise. I think this should be the number one solution you try.

If it doesn't work, there are smaller-scale solution like Advanced Roadmaps or one of the several apps addressing this problem, like Structure or BigPicture, as two examples.
