Whenever I do data > Re-sync within BigPicture (alpha) it loosing all options and I have to re-apply by preferences within

  • View > Layout > eg. Compact
  • Data > Show > g. Assignee
  • Data > Label Position > eg. Next to the taskbar

Given we need to Re-sync every time something changes (as it doesn't update another way) this is incredibly frustrating.

Is it solvable?

Hello Richard,

We are very happy to hear that you take advantage of our Gantt 2.0 Alpha. We have introduced this improved view of our Gantt module, to let our customers familiarize better with the upcoming changes to the module and test new functionalities which will be introduced with the release of BigPicture 8 (planned for this summer).

However, please bear in mind that this is still an Alpha version, meaning that it's not fully developed yet, it does not possess all the current Gantt 1.0 capabilities, and it should be used more as a preview of what's going to happen to Gantt in the near future, rather than an actual tool to work with your projects.

Please see also the list of upcoming changes planned in BigPicture 8 on our website here

In the new Gantt 2.0, the similar activity of re-sync of your data will not affect filtering which you specified, so we kindly ask you to wait just a little longer in order to enjoy using our revamped module.

I hope you will find the provided information useful.

Have a great day and best regards,

Adam
