We want story points on our Bugs.

And i have gone in to Project setting -> Issue Types -> Bug -> Context fields and added Story Point Estimate  as a field here.

And now, when i create a new bug i can set story points.

But Its not showing up on the card. Only when i click on to the ticket it self

On the images below you can see that even if i have set 8p, i cant see them on the card. But that i can for other issue types.

But if i create a brand new issue typ, e.g Bug 2 this will work out of the box. But i would like to avoid that.

Hello @Marcus Engström

How did you add the Story Point Estimate field to the Bug issue type? What the field available in the list of fields in the left pane, or did you have to create it?

What is the Estimates feature set to in your project? (under Project Settings > Features)

The "Story point estimate" field should automatically be added to the standard issue types if you have the Estimates feature turned on and Story Points selected.

I notice a small difference in your screen showing the Context Fields from what I see in my projects. In your screen you have "Story Point Estimate". In my screen I have "Story point estimate". This makes me wonder if you have added a newly created custom field rather than the built in custom field for story point estimate.

Wow!

Thanks for this, it turns out it must have been som custom typ of context field with the capital E in Estimate.

Changed it to the other one, and now it works :)

Its a big Jira project that has seen a alot of different projects with many admins. So not sure where the "wrong" context field came from.

THANK YOU! :D
