CSV Import to Target Start or Actual Start fields - format failing

Sarah Burrell November 15, 2022

hello

I am running some CSV imports to load numerous issues

The import is failing for date formats on 2 fields: target start and actual start

I have tried all formats and change the format (eg dd/mm/yyyy) on the 2nd screen of the load but nothing is working

However, we also map a date to the "due date" field in Jira and this works perfectly

The only thing i can see on the field definitions is that target start/actual start are "date time pickers" whereas due date is just a date

Has anyone had this issue / found a resolution?

regards

Sarah

i have tried all of those options

my error is

Please enter the date in the format "d/MMM/yy".

but my dates are in dd/mm/yyyy format and i have added this as the format on CSV load

I have also tried yyyy/mm/dd   yyyy-mm-dd

I wonder if its because these fields are on advanced roadmap

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JPOSERVER-2949

That seems to be it - in such a case you can only vote on the issue created in JIRA and hope they fix it soon.
