Hi,
I was asked by a customer if it is possible to give him the rights to import issues into his project using a CSV. (Using the "Create" button in the project and then "Import issues")
I know I can do it with full Site-Admin rights, but this is not feasible in that case, that would allow imports to affect other projects when not done properly and I don't intend to do it manually regularly.
Am I able to allow a Project-Admin to import a CSV only on his project? Alternatively, is there a way of using an automation where I can assure that imports can only go to this particular project, but they can be triggered by the project admin?
That did the trick, now he can update his project in a bulk but still not access other projects. Thanks a lot :)

While trying to import issues using csv , there are multiple checks - he is asked to check the project where he/she would be creating issues using csv.
I do not see much risks in it. They would anyway NOT BE able to update existing issues and would require your help for that.
If they do not have create issue permissions in other projects , he/she will anyway not be able to create issue in wrong projects if they select a wrong project .
Even if they create issues by mistake - it is not that much of an effort to sort those newly created issues by mistake.
As issue key is not available for normal users , they wont be able to wrongly update existing issues in wrong project.

Hi,
thanks for the reply. I would see it that way myself, but my issue is, that I don't see an option to grant the project admin the rights to import. If he selects "Import from CSV" in his project it shows an "Access denied" page. I as a siteadmin can of course do the import.
If there is an option, that would allow me to give him the rights without making him into a siteadmin, everything would be fine. But as far as I can see, I don't have an option to grant him that specific rights without granting him the full admin-rights to the site. I don't see a technical risk when he imports, but I don't want to give anyone the right to change other projects or change site-settings when not necessary.
