Can one open a ticket directly from the Board?

Is there  a way/plugin to create a JIRa ticket directly in the board? 

And not to have to go back to the Backlog section...

No, there's no function for it because it's a bad thing to do in a sprint - issues should be created in the backlog.  Changing the sprint commitment during the sprint should be a rare exception, not a routine thing.
