Can´t create a ticket in one project

Hi,

we have a lot of projects in our JIRA Software.

Only for one of them we can´t create new tickets. We get the error Message

Unbenannt.png

 

But the fields are empty except of the title field and ticket type. And without Title we can´t create either.

We can move a ticket from another project to the project where we can´t create.

 

Any ideas?

Hi Nicole,

I wonder if it is a permission issue. However, the error message seems misaligned with that thought. In any event, here are some next steps/thought.

  1. have any issue been created in the project by anyone? Go to advanced search and choose the project in your search to investigate. If there are issues see who created and check if the still can.
  2. checkout the permissions - project settings > permissions. See if you are in any role/group that has create permission.
  3. possibly there is a Validator on the workflow requiring a field but the person that added didn’t add a specific error message. Inspect the Create transition of the workflow.

Hi @Jack Brickey ,

thank you so much.

In the workflow for "create issue" was a following function which with an error.

Seems like its caused of our switch from JIRA Server to JIRA Cloud.

Now it could create tickets in the project.
