I know based on https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/ScriptRunner-Cloud-gt-Post-Functions-gt-Send-Notification/qaq-p/967321 that you can override particular items on ScriptRunner notification post functions.
Is it possible to override the recipients within ScriptRunner? I have 3 custom fields that use single and multi-user pickers, and would like my custom notification sent to them.
I currently have notifications being sent to these same users based on my notification scheme, but would like to have a customer email notification from SR instead.

Thank you for your question.
I can confirm that the Send notification for issue API which the Send notification post function provided by ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud uses only allows you to notify Users or groups inside of Jira as this is all Atlassian permit to be notifed by the API.
However, if you have a group of customers that you want to notify then I can confirm you can restrict the notification to just thi group and I can confirm if you click on the link named Restrict to Group below the Additional Code box then this will populate the box with the additional code that can be used to do this.
