I have a client that is interested in using insight asset management. I understand there is integration to pull in data from azure/ad to insight/jira. But is it possible to make changes in insight and have them update azure/AD?

Hello,
For synchronizing the changes in Insight, you can use the Insight Automation Framework. It is possible to define triggers, conditions, and actions. For example, when the department of a user is updated, you can execute a groovy script for updating Azure AD.
