Card Layout

I would like to add the Epic that relates to a particular story or task on the card however, it does not appear to have that option available.  Is this possible?  If so, what am I missing.  Thanks

Please note that, as per the current design of Jira, you can configure cards on a board to display up to three additional fields. The fields can be different for the Backlog and Active sprints, if you are using a Scrum board.

To add fields to cards:

1. If not already there, navigate to your company-managed project.
2. Select Active sprints (if you use a Scrum board) or Kanban board (if you use a Kanban board).
3. Select More () > Board settings.
4. Select Card layout.
5. Add or delete fields as desired.
6. You have to delete one of the fields if there are already 3 before you can add a new one.

What type of project are you using: company-managed or team-managed?  You may find this information at the bottom-left side of the page expand area.

At this time, only company-managed projects support configuring card information. 

There is a suggestion to add this feature to team-managed projects, however Atlassian indicated in August 2022 that they do not plan to do so at this time.  Please vote for / watch that one to see any progress: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17336
