Hi,
I have a structure with different issue types (Feature, Story, task etc.) and programme name as parent. I have start date and end date associated with each status. When the status of all the child's (feature >> Story >> Task etc) moved to 'Done' status, I want my parent status (Programme name ) also need to be changed to 'Done'.
Is there any way I can achieve this by using any formula?
Appreciate any help here.
Thanks,
Sarat Chandra
Hello Sarat,
Yulia from ALM Works here.
Unfortunately, it is not yet possible on Structure Cloud.
But we have plans to implement the "Status rollup" feature, and if you like I can add you to the notification list when it is available.
Best regards
Yulia Barbash
One more question on this topic, I'm using JIRA Onprim version.
Is this status rollup in structure feature available in JIRA DC/Onprim versions?
Thanks in advance,

Hi @sarathgd
Create an automation rule similar to below. I do it as a scheduled trigger that fires once a day so it doesn't fire on every issue that moves to Done. You could run it more frequently if you want.

Thanks John for help here. I think the automation you suggested is at Project level. If I do this automation at project level, I guess this rule will be triggered when ever any change at issue type every time.
But I need this functionality at Structure level, I don't want to disturb anything at project level. Is there any way I can implement this change of status at parent level once the status of child issues moved to 'Done' by using any formula?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Sorry, but that structure is a little beyond me.
