Checklist Functionality provided by Atlassian

Hi there,

my team and I are looking for an option to include the DoD as a checklist into the jira issue types. I have checked some manual option, e.g. adapting the issue screen, however that is not a very good option.
I have already worked with checklist plugins in Jira. My client is open für such a plugin, however it should be provided by Atlassian, not a third party.

Is there a plugin that you can recommend?

I do not believe there is a built-in feature or plug-in like this provided by Atlassian.  There are several marketplace addons to do this, as you have discovered.

What are your client's concerns about using one of the Atlassian Marketplace products?

it is mainly due to trust and data security. In essence they do not want to use a plug-in where they do not know where their data "lies"

First thing, I am just another customer/Jira user and do not work for any marketplace vendor.  With that out of the way...

I believe some of the addons store the data in custom fields in your site data.  For example I think "Issue Checklist", free version does this.  When in doubt, contact the vendor on the marketplace to get their confirmation.
