Clear Description when switching to a ticket with no description template (Scriptrunner Behaviour)

Hello!

 

Does anyone know how to clear the Description template when switching to a new project on the create screen that doesn't have a Description template configured using Scriptrunner for Jira Cloud (behaviour)?

 

More detail: I have a Scriptrunner Behaviour configured to set the "Description" on specific tickets in specific projects when creating a ticket. If I switch the project and/or issuetype to a ticket that doesn't have a Scriptrunner Behaviour configured to set the "Description" field, the description that was set when I first opened the create screen stays on screen in the new project.

Hi there,

With Behaviours, you cannot clear field values when changing issue type or project.

If you are using Behaviours for adding issue description templates, I would suggest an alternative app built by us:

Issue Templates Pro - Summary Description Templates for Jira

We worked very hard to solve the exact problem you are facing. While Behaviours can do quite some more things, I would personally not recommend it for adding issue templates. I am off course a bit biased, so would be better to try both apps and judge them yourself.

Please note to only have one app out of two installed when you try, because they can conflict.
