As far as I can tell, as a premium member, there is no automated backiup solution for our JIRA, Confluence, and BB instances. In partciular referencing i) https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-automate-backups-for-jira-cloud-applications-779160659.html (page recommends a solution but says it's not supported), ii) from sys admin, "Back up for server. Your site contains next-gen projects. Jira server products and Jira Data Center don't support these." If we're using this product for our company products, we would have expected a robust backup/restore produce for these cloud products? is there more/different information available and/or do you have different capabilites/features on the horizon? Dave
There is a "robust" backup for the systems. Atlassian take a complete backup regularly, so that they, as the "SAAS provider" can rebuild everything in case they lose the systems.
Those backups are only really suitable for restoring the whole swathe of client systems, they're not really individual backups of client sites. They can't be used by you - they hold data from other people's Cloud sites.
The page you have found talks about single site backups which you can take for yourself. Those contain only your own data, and are in a format suitable for re-uploading back into another Cloud site, or back to a server or data-centre (except for next-gen projects because the code in Server/DC doesn't do them)
There are no plans to provide further backup functions that I know of.
