While attempting to add a portion to workflow & column status (rejected,) upon clicking save, it is stuck in the attached completion status for over 1 week.
I have logged off, I have used three different browsers (Chrome, Safari & Firefox) but the status never changes. How do I get it to revert/stop?
Hi Daniel - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
What type of project is this?
If it is a Company-managed project or Jira Work Management/Business project, I would copy the workflow and then open that one and see if it functions.
Hi John, Thanks for getting back.
It Jira Work Management. Is there another area for me to copy the workflow (i.e. somewhere its listed)? I say this bc when I click on Project Settings, Board, Columns & Statuses, the attachment shows what is shown at all times. In other words, I'm not able to get past that, to access/see the workflow or status columns (blurred out behind that "still working" caption.) Its as if, my ID needs to be reset or something?

Yes, go to Settings (the gear icon in the upper right of the top navigation bar) then Issues then Workflows.
Then search for your workflow.
Then click on the 3 dots menu and choose copy.

Thanks, John! I don't have access to that but have set up time with my Jira Admin to both show him live what's going on and try your suggestion. I'll come back and let you know.

Hi John,
Quick update. My Jira Admin saw this problem live and experienced it as well (accessing my board.) We're going to open a ticket with Jira Support and we'll see that they say; I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again for all your help!
Daniel

Hi John,
I was able to get this resolved through Jira support (Daniel I-Atlassian). He said there is a known bug and this "stuck" syndrome is a manifestation of it. I don't know if the have a timeline to resolve with a bug fix. However, he was able to clear it, set up some test workflows and removed them, so my issue is resolved. He also confirmed I should be able to easily add a "rejected" to the workflow.
Thanks again for your support!
Daniel
